Via Uno, one of Brazil's largest ladies' shoe manufacturers is to open two new retail stores in Amman, Jordan, and Dubai, UAE, in March. The company already has four franchises in Dubai.

According to export manager Jadir Bergonsi, the new shops are part of the company's expansion strategy in the global market. Via Uno has 40 franchises outside of Brazil and intends to open another 20 this year, six of which will be in Mexico.

The company produces 30,000 pairs of shoes per day and exports approximately 50% of its production. The Arab market consumes between 8% and 10% of the total exported.
