Mahmoud Mahmoudian, Ph.D, FRSC, has joined Rohm and Haas Company as the Process Chemicals’ global director of Research and Development.  In this role, Mahmoudian is responsible for leading the business unit’s entire R&D effort on a global basis.

His career spans some 20 years in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors. Prior to joining Rohm and Haas, he was employed by Eastman Chemical Company USA, as programme manager and Head of Biotechnology, responsible for R&D, strategic alliances, and managing the growth and development of Eastman’s biotechnology programmes.
