Belgium-based footwear retailer The Brantano Group achieved turnover of €304.1 million in the 2005 financial year exceeding the company’s forecast of €300 million. This equates to a 2.1% rise in turnover compared with 2004.

In the total group revenue of €304.1 million, Belgium (including Luxembourg) accounted for €139.2 million and the United Kingdom (including the Middle East) generated €165.0 million.

As of December 31, Brantano had 125 shops in Belgium (including Luxembourg) and 145 shops in the UK, bringing the total number of outlets including the 10 franchises in the Middle East to 280.
