Branded footwear retailer DSW Inc. has reported net sales of $114.3 million for the five-week period ended December 31, 2005, a 20.7% increase over last year's net sales of $94.7 million for the five-week period ended January 1, 2005. December comparable store sales increased 9.9% over the same period last year.

For the 48-week period ended December 31, 2005, the company reported a net sales increase of 18.8% to $1.07 billion from $902.9 million last year.  Comparable store sales increased 5.1% for the 48-week period.
