Specialty retailer and wholesale distributor of products including leather and leatherworking tools Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. has reported sales of $5 million, for the month of December, an increase of 8% from $4.7 million last year. Year-to-date sales rose 10% to $50.7 million in the current year from $46.1 million last year.

Wholesale Leathercraft posted sales of $2.8 million for December, up 3% from $2.7 million in December 2004.  Retail Leathercraft posted a 16% sales increase for December, with sales totalling $2.1 million compared with $1.8 million in December 2004. The 42 comparable stores posted a 5% same store sales gain for December.
