Over 150 exhibitors took part in the 36th EXPOCAIPIC - the National Exhibition of Materials, Components, Technology and Fashion for the Footwear and Allied Trades held November 22-24, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They showed the their latest offerings and showed determination in helping the recovery of the footwear, leather goods, leather garment, saddlery and fashion accessory industries in the country.

Machinery manufacturers exhibited a large variety of goods that attracted a lot of attention and, according to organisers, visitors seem to view technology as a means of ensuring the future of the industry.

‘Fashion at its best’ was one of the main themes of the show. Argentine designers - most of them graduates from local universities - introduced highly creative collections and a group of companies manufactured special materials and components for the catwalk.

The show saw the largest numbers of visitors ever and arguably the highest quality of products ever seen at the event.
