Lederinstitut Gerberschule Reutlingen (LGR), the German tanning school and research institute, has confirmed the date for its annual seminar for tanners reviewing the latest in leather technology. The seminar will be held March 14-16, 2006.

LGR seminars follow a four-year cycle relating to the main sectors in leather production, and the 2006 seminar will cover Post-Tanning Processes . The seminars are held in English and German and have become increasingly international in recent years. Last year’s seminar was attended by 120 participants from 12 different countries.

In 2006 the seminar meeting will once again be organised to coincide with the German Society of Leather Chemists and Technologists (VGCT’s) annual meeting.
