Le Cuir à Paris to highlight technological developments

21/11/2005

Le Cuir à Paris will present the colour and material trends in the new collections for spring/summer 2007. Important technological developments will also be highlighted at the show, to be held February 21-24, 2006. Organisers (in collaboration with the French Showroom Matério”) will set up a Performance Table” where the most innovative materials with industrial applications, not necessarily related to fashion, will be shown.

"Buyers, designers and consumers are sensible to the intrinsic qualities of the leathers they use. Whether they are non-pollutants, washable, anti-stain, transparent or anti-heat……all the innovations marketed by the exhibitors are valuable commercial arguments. By setting up the Performance Table, Le Cuir à Paris aims to highlight the added value of these products,” commented Marc Brunel, marketing/promotion manager of the event.

On the fashion side, the IFM (Institut Français de la Mode) will once again be present at the show. The IFM Designers” area will present unique pieces, created by 10 international designers from England, Japan, Spain, Czech Republic and others, who will present gloves, shoes and clothing.
