Coach Inc., a marketer of modern classic American accessories, today announced the reopening of its global flagship store, at the corner of 57th Street and Madison Avenue. The new design marries the luxury brand's modernity with the Art Deco style of the landmark Fuller Building, where Coach has been a tenant since 1994.
The global flagship was designed by the Coach Architecture Group with Eight Inc, under direction from Reed Krakoff, president and executive creative director of Coach. The store's total space expanded over 50% to almost 10,000 square feet with selling space now stretching across two floors
Mr. Krakoff said: "This is one of New York City's great buildings, and its sophistication and timelessness have inspired our team throughout the duration of the redesign," said Reed. "As a New Yorker, and an admirer of great design of all eras, I've found this project incredibly rewarding,"
Coach, with headquarters in New York, is a leading American marketer of fine accessories and gifts for women and men, including handbags, women's and men's small leathergoods, business cases, weekend and travel accessories, footwear and watches.
