During this year’s 58th National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Annual Meeting and Convention in Orlando, Florida, Lufthansa Technik AG has presented a new modular cabin solution for the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ). Named Leadership Select” the programme is especially adapted to the needs of government customers, corporate- and VIP-operators.

The concept of the modular cabin allows customers to put together a cabin interior composed from a combination of predefined components that reflect their requirements with access to a large pool of selected materials including leather, suede, and fabrics in a wide range of colours.

From the start of the BBJ program Lufthansa Technik has been a partner of Boeing Business Jets and was selected as an authorised completion centre. In 2003 Lufthansa Technik has been named authorised warranty-repair facility and service centre for the Boeing Business Jet and Boeing Business Jet 2. Last month the German provider of VIP & Executive Jet Solutions re-delivered its 17th BBJ to PrivatAir of Switzerland. The 18th BBJ just arrived in Hamburg and will be outfitted for a Russian company and operated by Vizavi Aviation.
