Retailer and wholesale distributor of leather and leather-related products, Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. has reported sales of $4.4 million for October, an increase of 17% from $3.7 million last year. Year-to-date sales increased 9% to $41 million in the current year from $37.5 million last year.

Wholesale Leathercraft posted sales of $2.6 million for October, up 8% from $2.4 million in October 2004. Within the Wholesale Leathercraft division, the wholesale centres and National Account group posted October sales gains of 9% and 4%, respectively. For the year to date, Wholesale Leathercraft sales are $25.5 million compared to $25.4 million in 2004.

Retail Leathercraft posted a 37% sales increase for October, with sales totalling $1.6 million compared with $1.2 million last year.
