The Board of Richina Pacific Limited recently confirmed a number of new and changed appointments throughout the company. The majority of these appointments and changes arose as part of the ongoing consolidation that is taking place as the manufacturing activities of the subsidiaries of the recently acquired Shanghai Leather Co., Ltd  (SLC) are consolidated into those of Shanghai Richina Leather (SRL).

As CEO of RPL, Richard Yan has also been appointed CEO of Richina Industries. Together with Roger Wang, an executive director of RPL, they will form the office of the CEO for Richina Industries

Ernst Hagen has been named as senior vice president and chief operating officer - Tanning, Richina Industries. A former CEO of SRL, Mr. Hagem has returned to the company after five years, taking over as general manager – Upholstery Division, Richina Industries. He will be responsible for all tanning activities that are currently part of SRL and SLC.

Other appointments include Mark Lecher who has been appointed senior vice president, Finished Product Division of Richina Industries and Richina Marketing and Distribution; Gavin Laidlaw who has been named senior vice president, Internal Auditor and Special Projects, Richina Pacific Group Services; Reegan Pearce has taken over as Richina Pacific Goup Financial Controller; Leo Li who has been named financial controller – Richina Industries; Frank Hollier who has been appointed Richina Pacific Group IT manager; and Sabine Ni who has been named human resources and training manager – China.
