The board of directors of Pittards plc has appointed Jill Williams to the group’s board, effective November 2, 2005. Ms Williams joined the group as finance and planning manager in 1989. She was appointed company secretary in 1991 and human resources director in 2002.

Robert Blackford has been appointed group financial director effective January 1, 2006. He will join the group board and assume full executive responsibilities on May 1, 2006. Mr Blackford joined the group as  financial controller in 1995 and was appointed technical services director in 1999. He will succeed John Buckley who plans to retire in April 2006 having held the role for 20 years.
