Stahl de México receives new certification
Following an extensive audit by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Stahl de México has recently received the integrated Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental Certification covering ISO 9001:2000, OHSAS 18001:1999 and ISO 14001:2004.
The certification is said to be the result of an 18-month project by Stahl México’s SMAS (Stahl Management System) which culminated in a five-day audit by a member of DNV’s staff.
DNV reported favourably on the company’s commitment to providing quality products to its customers, to maintaining operating systems that avoided pollution of the environment and reduced the occupational risks of accidents and illness among its staff.
