Tandy Leather Factory, Inc., a US retailer and wholesale distributor of products including leather, leatherworking and tools, has announced that it is to open a new retail store in San Antonio, Texas, which will be its 50^th outlet. This is the eighth retail store opened in 2005 and the 46th retail store located in the US. There are also four Tandy Leather stores in Canada.

Chairman and CEO, Wray Thompson, commented, "This store opening marks the halfway point of the expansion that we started in 2001 and will be a solid complement to our Leather Factory wholesale distribution centre in San Antonio.
