VESLIC, the Swiss Society of Leather Chemists and Technologists held its annual meeting on October 21. The meeting was hosted by Lantal, a supplier of leather upholstery for aircraft, in Langenthal near Emmental.

The executive board of VESLIC, including its president Dr. Alois Püntener was re-elected for another three years, and two new honorary members were also elected - former VESLIC president Max Gimmel and Dr. Hubert Wachsmann, consultant editor, World Leather.
