The 98th Session of Chinese Export Commodities Fair began on October 15, 2005 at two separate venues in Guangzhou, China. The fair is being held in two phases that will run from October 15-20 and from October 25-30, where five categories of exhibits will be shown in 34 exhibition sections. The fair will boast 28,808 stands, 798 more than the previous session.

There will be two categories in Phase One, Textile and Garments, that will include garments, raw textile materials and fabrics, furs, leather, down and related products, and household textiles.

The second phase will showcase sporting goods, tour equipment and casual goods, gifts, toys, horticultural products, watches, etc.
