Effective October 15, 2005, Buckman Laboratories will implement a 10% company-wide price increase across all product lines. The company also stated that additional increases will be necessary on selected products. In addition, to this Buckman will implement a freight surcharge for those products with delivered pricing. Non-delivered pricing customers will not be impacted by this surcharge.

According to Buckman, the price increase is due to unprecedented increases in raw material and energy costs in the last 24 months.

The freight surcharge is primarily due to the significant rise in the cost of diesel over the same period.
