Pakistan's Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has imposed a 20% regulatory duty on the export of raw and wet blue hides and skins from September 1, 2005 under the terms of SRO (I)/2005. This is subject to the condition that exports pertaining to letters of credit received up to September 1 would be exempt from the duty. The value for determination of duty would be the customs value of exported goods as defined under Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1969.
