Brazilian footwear manufacturers that participated at GDS, in Germany, are reported to have returned home with contracts worth $10.6 million, according to the Brazilian Association of Shoe Manufacturers.

According to a survey carried out by the association, visitors from 68 countries visited the Brazilian stands and of these, 45 actually placed firm orders.
