Producer of ostrich leather, meat, eggs, and feathers, Klein Karoo Group, based in Oudtshoorn, South African, celebrated its 60^th anniversary in August. The Klein Karoo Co-operative company was founded in 1945 to facilitate ostrich farming and marketing in a structured manner, it has since flourished, to become one of the leading specialists for ostrich products.
