Following the official opening of its new facility in Shanghai, Trumpler International and Trumpler China (TCD) will take part in this All China Leather Fair (ACLE) and will unveil several new products.

• Trukalin KC is a fluid phosphate-free complexing agent. It is said to efficiently sequester calcium and iron therefore suppressing the formation of lime blast and iron stains during all stages of wet processing.

• Trupotan GD is an economical, replacement syntan suitable for universal application in shoe upper, bag, upholstery and garment leathers. It can be used during vegetable tanning and be applied in the retannage of wet blue and wet white leathers. It is said to have a good filling effect and produces mellow tight grained leather with good fastness properties.

• Trupofix SLD is a dyeing auxiliary based on fatty alcohol derivatives which greatly enhances the colour value of leathers dyed with anionic dyestuffs. It allows bright level shades to be achieved with greatly reduced dye offer.

It also assists the fixation and exhaustion of other anionic materials such as fatliquors and syntans thus having a positive effect on effluent loadings.

• Truposol FRF is a new fatliquor for upholstery and auto upholstery, which has been developed to support the flame resistance of car and aircraft upholstery leathers. It is free of antimony and halogenated adducts and can be used as a direct replacement for other fatliquors in the manufacturing process.
