A new tannery is set to be built in Lobatse, Botswana. The facility will be built by Tannery Industries Botswana (TIB), a publicly-owned company which has received funding from the Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency Venture Capital Fund (CVCF) for the project.

It is envisaged that the tannery will employ up to 100 people and is likely to be operational by March 2006.
