Stahl’s new company in China, Stahl Coatings and Fine Products (Suzhou) Co Ltd, will launch its first package of products at the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) in Shanghai. Designated the 77 series”, the first nine products will be released in what the company says will grow to become an important group of shoe upper leather finishes. This initial release consists of RI-77-100 and RI-77-101 aqueous impregnation resins, LW-77-400 clear NC water lacquer, LS-77-500 clear CAB lacquer, RA-77-102 aqueous acrylic resin for base coats, RC-77-200 modified acrylic co-polymer emulsion/compact resin, LS-77-504 clear high gloss NC lacquer, LS-77-506 clear NC lacquer for Florentique finishes and PP-77-332 carbon black pigment dispersion.

Stahl’s display at ACLE will also focus on finishes for shoe upper leathers. Featuring amongst these will be the new Premium Shoe Package”, the 79 series that was recently introduced into the Chinese market to meet the local needs for competitive prices and high quality technical performance.

Many other leathers on display will feature finishes produced for sheepskins, goatskins, and calf and upholstery leathers, all with an eye on the needs of the Chinese tanners. A significant number of these will feature wet-end processes using Salem oils, and, of course, all other leathers will have been processed and dyed using Stahl wet-end products so that the best results are achieved.
