Jacobson Group has announced that it has extended its footwear licence agreement with Lonsdale Sports Ltd. for a further 12 years from January 2006.

Commenting on the agreement, Tony Evans, sales director for Jacobson Group’s sport division said, This long term agreement means we can really focus on the future growth of Lonsdale footwear. In order to achieve further market penetration we plan to invest significantly in the brand. Initially this will involve expanding the team in key areas such as design and account management, together with the implementation of creative marketing initiatives and most importantly developing the right product that builds on Lonsdale’s rich heritage.”

Jacobsen has been licensed to produce Lonsdale footwear for three years.
