BLC Leather Technology Centre has introduced a new four-day Understanding Leather and Footwear Construction course, in response to positive feedback received following the centre’s one day course on the subject. The practical course aims to develop the manufacturing side of footwear, covering: leather, feet and lasts, pattern cutting, clicking, closing, lasting and making.

Scheduled for August 30 to September 2, 2005, the course will be run in conjunction with the Footwear Centre at Tresham Institute of Further and Higher Education, with two days held at BLC in Northampton and two days at Tresham Institute in Wellingborough.
