Kela appoints new MD
Kela Ledertechnik GmbH, a Kelkheim-based supplier of machinery to the leather industry, has announced the resignation of its managing director Frank Helmut and an immediate appointment of Guido Kerber in his place.
According to the company, the lime splitting machine Autosplit recently developed in cooperation with two German tanneries and Dr. Dorstewitz (Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH) is a break-through in the splitting technique. Its prototype, the Through-Feed Milling Machine, is currently being developed.
The company plans no changes to its current business strategy, client or supplier base. It intends to concentrate on the development of modern and effective leather finishing machines.
