This year’s Shoe and Leather fair in Guangzhou attracted 788 exhibitors from 24

countries and regions including China, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Pakistan,

Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and Hong Kong. 405 exhibitors were from China; 130 from Italy and 55 from Hong Kong.

There were 13 categories of products displayed in the exhibition. The majority focused on leather (33.65%), followed by shoe materials (13.41%) and shoe machines (10.66%).

During the four-day exhibition, 23,944 visitors were recorded, with more than half coming from China and about 15% were from overseas. Of the visitors, half of them were manufacturers (49.82%); followed by agents (23.28%) and import/export traders (10.77%).
