Massimo Donda, President of Federcalzature Italian Shoe Trade Confederation and President of CEDDEC European Confederation of the Shoe Trade Associations, visited the fair Shoe China from 1 to 6 July 2005 in Beijing.

During his stay he met the vice minister of commerce Fu Ziying. Franco Ballin, vice president of ANCI, and Andrea Colzani, president of the Federcalzature Young Group, were also part of the delegation. Massimo Donda asked the vice minister to stop the EU quarrels and to open the Chinese market by reducing duties.

During the China Shoes Forum on 3 July President Donda presented an “EU Footwear Market Overview“ and had meetings with the CEOs of large Chinese manufactures and managers from within the shoe sector.
