Scottish Tanning Industries changes name
Scottish Tanning Industries, a supplier of raw, wet blue, and wet white hides and manufacturer of finished leather for the automotive, furniture, and transport industries, has announced that effective from July 1, 2005, the company shall be renamed Scottish Leather Group Ltd.
According to the company, the decision was taken to change the name in an effort to offer a more accurate description of its trading activity and to clearly indicate the company’s status as a parent company of several subsidiary leather manufacturing companies. The subsidiary companies are: Andrew Muirhead and Son Ltd,
