President of Federcalzature and CEDDEC, the European Confederation of Shoe Retail Trade Associations, Massimo Donda, is to visit China from July 1-5. He will be accompanied by the president of the Federcalzature Young Group, Andrea Colzani. The trip is being viewed as being of great importance for Sino-EU relations, in regard to the current situation concerning Chinese footwear imports into Europe.

The visit will give Mr Donda an opportunity to attend the Shoe China fair and to hold important meetings with Chinese officials, including the Chinese Economy Minister, Bo Xilai.

The president will also give a presentation “the EU Footwear Market Overview” during the China Shoes Forum Congress on July 3.
