Himaco Hidráulicos e Máquinas Indústria e Comércio, of Novo Hamburgo, Brazil has been ISO 9001 certified.

 

Founded 36 years ago, Himaco is one of Latin America's longest established manufacturers of injection moulding machines. Its machines are used in the footwear, car, electronics and toy industries.

 

According to Enore Bondan, director and president of the company, industrial and commercial process standardisation and the recent ISO 9001 certification will ensure recognition of the Himaco brand in both the Brazilian and international markets. He also added that it has led to a significant increase in productivity as well as a considerable cost and waste reduction.
