Mulberry reports sales increase

British retailer Mulberry, known predominantly for its luxury bags, has reported positive sales for the full year ended April 2005. Sales rose 19% to reach £30 million compared with £25 million for the prior year. Profits also saw a strong increase rising from £41,000 to £1.9 million year-on-year.
Although famous for its leather goods, Mulberry’s range extends to womenswear, menswear and home furnishings.
