Laurese NY, a small leather handbag company, has launched a new range of ladies’ briefcases that could redefine the rules of business fashion. The company’s summer season has introduced briefcases for female executives in colours such as pink, blue and lime-green.

According to Lerma Edwards, designer and co-owner, "Women now make up a significant portion of the business world. We shouldn't have to conform to masculine colours.”
