64th ‘Expo Riva Schuh’ footwear fair breaks records

At the centre of the trading were the spring/summer collections for 2006, presented by 1,049 companies from 34 countries.
Italy holds the record for the number of trade visitors present (3,335), although other countries also had high levels of attendance: Germany (800), France (404), Spain (403), England (389), Greece (259), Holland (258), Poland (211), Turkey (72), Israel (72), U.S.A. (48), India (45), Russia (36), China (36), Cyprus (35) and South Africa (18), with representatives from countries such as Scandinavia, Korea and Mexico also taking part. Some 393 Italian exhibitors took part in the fair, whilst the Chinese presence increased to 151. Approximately 300 exhibitors represented European countries:
