Richina to merge Chinese manufacturing facilities

Richina Pacific Limited has announced that a major integration project is underway that will result in the merging of all its China-based manufacturing entities into one company to be known as “Richina Industries Limited”. All Chinese manufacturing activities previously operated by Shanghai Richina Leather Limited (SRL) together with those of the recently acquired Shanghai Leather Co. Limited (SLC) and its various subsidiaries are to be integrated into one industrial division under Richina Industries Limited.

 

The merger will involve all of SRL’s four leather divisions and 31 of SLC’s subsidiaries, which are primarily involved in manufacturing activities. Richina Industries will have approximately 8,500 employees.
