Valter Broda has been appointed managing secretary of ABRAMEQ – Brazilian Association of Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for the Leather, Footwear and Allied Trades. 

The new managing secretary has a high level of experience in corporate marketing and had been working as a special advisor for Abrameq for some time prior to his appointment.

Mr Broda succeeds Ms. Gisele Garcez who left the post at the beginning of May to work as a solicitor in a law firm.
