US developer of CAD/CAM solutions for sewn products and other related industries, OptiTex USA, Inc. has released its latest pattern and marker converters for the CAD/CAM industry.

This latest update product allows companies to convert and open their pattern files in Optitex’s 3D software, without having to correct or re-create the information needed.

“The biggest issue for CAD/CAM users is the ability to share production files with any overseas or local manufacturer regardless of the software or version of software. OptiTex Converters offer the perfect solution, without missing information. Customers can convert grading, variation grading, mirrored pieces, notch types, and even markers,” said Julia Shaw, OptiTex’s support/project manager.

The new Advanced Converters are said to be able to convert Lectra files (mdl OR .vet, .iba), the ability to convert Gerber files (all versions including Markers), Microdynamic Files (.d, .g, .syn, .ann, .m), and Investronica (.ZONA, .EXP, .PGS).
