President of Teva resigns
Deckers Outdoor Corporation has announced that Robert Orlando, president of Teva, has left the company effective May 24, 2005 in order to pursue other interests. The company is currently seeking a successor, but in the meantime, Angel Martinez, Deckers' president and CEO, has assumed all of his responsibilities.
Chairman of the Board, Doug Otto, stated, "I would like to personally thank Bob for his significant contributions over the years and wish him well in his future endeavours. Teva remains one of the most recognised performance brands in the outdoor industry and we are committed to fully capitalising on our leadership position in the market."
Deckers Outdoor designs and markets, functional and fashion-oriented footwear for high performance outdoor activities and everyday casual use. The company's products are sold under the Teva, Simple and Ugg brand names.
