AAFA announces staff reorganisation

23/05/2005

President and CEO of The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), Kevin M. Burke, has announced the reorganisation of staff at the association.

Fawn Evenson, vice president of AAFA and president of the footwear division, will now head up global initiatives; Mary Howell, previously director of program development, has been promoted to vice president of industry relations; and Joan McNeal, previously director of membership, has been promoted to vice president of membership development.

“As I look toward the future of AAFA, I want to continue to establish AAFA as a growing and changing organisation.  As we had to re-align our staff, programmes and objectives in the past, I believe it is time to do so again so that we remain fresh, creative and forward thinking,” Burke stated.

The AAFA is the national trade association representing apparel, footwear and other sewn products companies, and their suppliers, including several dozen US textile companies.
