China issues technical guidelines for exports
Following extensive research with ministries, industrial associations, import and export chambers, research institutes and local government departments,
the Chinese Ministry of Commerce has released its first list of technical guidelines for exports. The ten guidelines listed give information on technical regulations, standards, and evaluation processes in the export markets.
The guidelines deal with products including leather and fur, textiles and down-padded anoraks, honey, aluminium, and electric tools.
The list will continue to be extended and it is hoped that it will feature 100 items by the end of 2006.
