China Shoetec sees 74.7% increase in number of overseas visitors
The 2005 China Shoes China Shoetec, held at the Dongguan International Conference & Exhibition Centre,
The four-day event attracted 18,702 trade visitors, representing a 18.7% increase over the last show. 25.5% of the total visitors came from overseas, which was an increase of 74.7% over last year.
Exhibitors were happy with both the quality and quantity of buyers. Organisers said that over 80% of exhibitors have already shown an interest in reserving a stand for next event.
There were eight seminars held on-site including a presentation on the "US Footwear Market and Global Shoe Trade Outlook" given by Mr Peter Mangione, president of Footwear Distributors & Retailers of America.
