Specialty retailer of leather outerwear, accessories and apparel in the United States, Wilsons Leather has awarded a five-year, multi-million dollar to global delivery and logistics company, DHL.

Under the new agreement, DHL will provide a nationwide retail distribution programme for the delivery of Wilsons Leather merchandise throughout the United States, as well as the import and export of product samples between the US and China, India and Hong Kong.

“Although DHL consistently exceeded Wilsons Leather’s delivery performance standards for on-time service during the pilot, the way DHL does business with its customers really sold us,” said Michael Tripp, director of logistics with Wilsons Leather.
