Deckers Outdoor Corporation has reported record financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2005.  Net sales increased 45.2% to $64.3 million versus $44.3 million in the same period last year. Net earnings for the quarter increased 65.1% to a record $8.9 million compared to earnings of $5.4 million last year.

Deckers Outdoor Corporation designs and markets functional and fashion-oriented footwear developed for both high performance outdoor activities and everyday casual use. The company's brands include Teva, Simple and UGG.
