Prime Tanning USA has appointed Tom Emmerling as sales manager at the company. A graduate of the Reutlingen Tanning School, Germany, he worked as a tanner at Prime for six years, followed by two years as a technical sales representative for Bayer. He worked at Coach for eight years in the leather management department, responsible for sourcing and quality control of leather. During the past six years he has been involved in selling finished leather as well as leather goods. His experience will be valuable in the support of Prime USA’s wet blue team, Heinz Keller, Craig Scotland and Eric Goldman in selling wet blue grains and splits worldwide.
