12/04/2005

German automotive concern MAN has identified Poland as the most likely base for its new factory. The production facility would be located either in Wroclaw or Starachowice. The final decision is to be announced before the end of April.

The facility would become operational either in 2006 or 2007 and produce some 10,000–15,000 trucks. The investment has been estimated at €30 million.

Other countries considered at the moment include Slovakia and Hungary.
