Men's branded footwear company, Weyco Group, Inc.’s Board of Directors has appointed Cory L. Nettles as a director of the company to fulfill the remaining term held previously by Mr. Virgis W. Colbert. Mr. Colbert resigned as a director of the company on January 31, 2005 and his term expires in April 2006. Mr. Nettles was also appointed to serve on the company's audit committee, corporate governance and compensation committee, and the executive committee.

Mr. Nettles is a partner in the corporate services and government relations groups in the Milwaukee office of the law firm of Quarles & Brady, LLP. He has previously served as the Wisconsin Secretary of Commerce under Governor Jim Doyle. Mr. Nettles currently serves on the Board of Midcities Venture Capital Fund, Lawrence University, Wisconsin Technology Council, University Wisconsin-Milwaukee Business Advisory Council, Partners AdvancingValues in Education ("PAVE"), the Wisconsin Partnership for Housing Development, University Wisconsin-Milwaukee Education School Advisory Committee and the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where he is also chairman of the board of trustees.
