European home brands will have an increased presence at this year’s Ambiente Arabia show for homeware and interior décor, to be held April 11-14 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

It has already partnered with the British European Design Group (BEDG). The Group focuses on promoting British designs for export, and will feature a showcase of 20 leading designers, studios and companies all capable of supplying high-end luxury products, commissioned work and consultancy services.

Other confirmed international exhibitors include UK-based artist Caroline Ashworth, who will showcase hand-made lampshades made from a variety of materials, including suede, feathers and silk. Biso from Belgium will showcase small furniture and decoration items in leather, while Samocasa from Greece will be displaying hand-made Swarovski curtain rods and knobs.

“Following the current boom in residential property sales, Ambiente Arabia offers design industry professionals and home owners a never-before opportunity to view, purchase or commission unique interior accessories right here in Dubai,” said Geoffrey Booy, exhibitions director, IIR Middle East, the organisers of Ambiente Arabia.
