04/04/2005

Licensing 2005 International, the world’s largest licensing show is to be held in Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York on 21-23 June.

“The show is the global marketplace for fresh concepts and innovations that drive retail sales,” says Michael Alic, general manager of Advanstar Communications, a business information company serving specialised markets including automotive, fashion, apparel, and powersports.  “As the starting point in the process that turns concepts into products and promotions, this show is where the deals get made. Attendees get a unique opportunity to preview all the properties that will be driving popular culture worldwide. Given the breadth of exhibitors we are offering, a trip to New York, in essence, will be like visiting Europe, Asia and the US rolled into one.”

This annual trade show offers benefits to the key players in consumer products worldwide. Exhibiting companies from all over the world can meet directly with key American retailers, manufacturers and promotional partners. Attendees can preview the newest properties from key US licensors and contacts can be made between the people who represent properties and the people who bring them to life as products or promotions regardless of origin.
