Bayer MaterialScience AG, is currently founding its first integrated system house on the Indian subcontinent near New Delhi. Major customers for the polyurethane systems developed in the new system house will be the automotive, domestic appliance and footwear industries. This enables us to offer our customers high-quality products and services."

In addition, Bayer Jinling Polyurethane Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Bayer AG and Sinopec Jinling Petrochemical Corp. of Nanjing, China, is set to double its annual production capacity by the end of 2005. The products manufactured there are utilised in countless applications for the Chinese automotive industry.
